Spencer R. Doody

New Orleans native Spencer Doody studied accounting and economics at Loyola University New Orleans.  In 1998 during his junior year, Mr. Doody  was admitted to Tulane Law School, where he was recipient of the Lemle & Kelleher Foundation Scholarship. He graduated from Tulane Law School in 2001 and joined M&B as an associate in 2002.  Before joining Martzell & Bickford, Mr. Doody worked as a litigation assistant in environmental, landfill, zoning and personal injury litigation.  

Mr. Doody is a member of the Louisiana and American Bar Associations, the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, Tulane Inn of Court, and several civic organizations.  He practices primarily in the areas of toxic torts, occupational diseases, medical malpractice, products liability and personal injury litigation.  With managing partner Scott Bickford, Mr. Doody  is litigating several of the first thimerosal-related vaccine lawsuits and welding-related manganese poisoning lawsuits filed in the nation.
