Law Clerk Program
Martzell & Bickford hires law clerks to work full-time during the summer but offers part-time employment to law clerks year round. Law clerks are exposed to all areas of our firm’s diverse litigation practice and have an opportunity to work with all attorneys in the firm to allow them to experience a wide variety of legal cases and legal styles.

Martzell & Bickford law clerks typically spend time researching and analyzing legal issues and drafting motions, oppositions to motions, exceptions, oppositions to exceptions and a variety of other litigation related documents.  Our law clerks are strongly encouraged to observe practice situations and participate in various non-research and writing activities.  We look at our law clerks as team members who work on cases and assist attorneys to identify, analyze and discuss the law as applied generally and to the facts in specific cases.
