Fishing Losses Continue to mount from BP Spill

The National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) increased again today,  the amount of fishing areas closed as a result of the Deepwater Horizon Catastrophe.  The latest closures increased the total closed  areas, including the State of Lousiiana closures, to more than 14,000 square miles of waters in the Gulf of Mexico and in Louisiana.  Depending upon the direction of the oil spill plume, additional areas will likely be closed in the coming days.
