Martzell, Bickford & Centola pursuing arbitration claims for victims of Coinbase theft

Posted by Lawrence J. Centola | May 19, 2025 | 0 Comments

Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange based in the U.S., said Thursday that criminals had improperly obtained personal data on the exchange's customers for use in crypto-stealing scams and were demanding a $20 million payment not to publicly release the info.

There is an arbitration clause in the agreements between Coinbase and its customers. The lawyers at Martzell, Bickford & Centola have experience handling cases in arbitration and have experience with cases involving data breaches.

If your Coinbase account has been impacted by this theft, Coinbase may be responsible. Please contact us at 504-581-9065 or [email protected] for more information.
